A Successful Graduate In Nail Art

nailst19After making a career change from nursing to nails, Emma has made a huge success for herself in the industry. Her unique nail art style allows her to stand out from the crowd and offer her clients something very special.

For the past 15+ years I have been interested in all things arty and sparkly I went to college and gained my A levels in Art and Photography and also trained as a nurse.Yes a random mix I know!

But I always felt that putting my art onto someone’s hands would be amazing, so I decided to take up training as a Nail Technician. I started small with basic nail art onto natural nails using all kinds of nail polishes then I went onto gel nails with another training provider. After a while I discovered acrylic and fell in love with it and the fact you can do almost anything with it.

In the meantime I got married, at times I was home alone while my husband was away, and this is when I stumbled across a nail course website and decided to give them a try. To my amazement I discovered how amazing the course was and what made it even better was the fact you could spread the cost to make it a bit easier and also take your time to complete the course.

After gaining my qualifications in acrylics I went on to doing Airbrushing and the Master Technician courses which I passed with Distinctions

I am now a successful nail artist running my very own nail business. I’ve been featured in Scratch magazine and also came 1st in the Nails Valentine’s competition, 1st in the Halloween comp and 2nd in the Christmas 2013 comp. At present I’m working on my entry for UK Nail Tech 2014 held in May at Birmingham NEC.

We’ve now been posted to Windsor with the army, so now about to spread my talent in the south of the country.

If it wasn’t for the nail courses I would not be where I am today and for that I can’t thank you all enough
